1. After a workout, immediately wash your clothes or air them out until they dry - Never let a sweaty workout shirt stay damp at the bottom of your gym bag.

2. Wash with cold water - Heat can damage the elastic of stretchy materials

3. Use less detergent and never use fabric softener - Detergent clings to synthetic materials and may not fully wash out, while fabric softener breaks down the elastic.

4. Avoid heat from the dryer - Hanging your clothes to dry is best, but using the low/no heat setting on the dryer is also acceptable.
